McFly is a popgroup based in the United Kingdom. The band was founded by Tom Fletcher(born 17th July,1985) and also consists of Danny Jones(born 12th March, 1986), Dougie Poynter(born 30th November, 1987) and Harry Judd(born 23rd December, 1985). McFly's name was chosen by Fletcher based on his love for the American science-fiction comedy Back to the Futurefilms and Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly. They are signed to the Island Records label and are managed by Prestige Management.
